Welcome John. Great to have you here. Tons of helpful people as well as enough reading material to keep you busy for a couple of years.

Let us know if there is anything specific you need help with and we will chime in with some ideas.

Lights are a very important part. Make sure you weight your options and what your results might be with each one.

Awesome! Glad to have you. There's a thread somewhere in here that is a collection of mistakes we all made when we were starting out and what we would do differently. It's a funny and entertaining read, but also has a plethora of good info for getting up and going! I bet Mark can send you a link to the thread

Thanks again. I have been reading through some of the old post. A lot of info to take in. Was looking on the beginners guide post and was wondering if that sand is still a good way to start and if its still around?

I would be happy to help in any way I can. I answered your PM about the sand and other things needed to have a reef going in just a week. I recently set up yet another tank, a 29 gal for a friend. This is the tank build thread: http://utahreefs.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=79885
