I've got a bunch of clear acrylic and I'm thinking of building an internal overflow for my 29g. Is there a black paint I could use on the acrylic that would be safe inside the tank?

Krylon fusion is what I have been told. Some walmarts have it but I found it at checkers auto.

I wouldn't do it. Paint is for outside of the tank, like painting the back. If used on acrylic underwater, over time it will probably flake off in spots and who knows what toxins will dissolve into the water. Instead, use black acrylic.
