I personally like the display of my current Apex and find it to be sufficient. With how many issues new products encounter along with all of the issues I've had with my current Neptune products, I personally believe the new Apex is worth holding out on until it receives some real world feedback.
I don't want to throw Neptune under the bus but I think they need to invest and focus on better customer service prior to releasing new products. I can't tell you how many times I've called their line only to reach their voicemail. When these controllers encounter problems which cause your tank to malfunction, waiting 4 days for an email response to begin troubleshooting just isn't ideal.
My DOS has caused endless headaches which is unfortunate because it's great when it's working properly. I wish I could give Neptune more credit but when it comes to poor customer service, it's far more upsetting than the issues that arise with the products themselves...
