I got some rocks from friends that have some aptasia and it's spreading!!

Looking to buy CBB, filefish and maybe 10-20 peppermints.  If you have any of these, please PM or text me at 385-831-8982.

I would boil some water with vinegar and inject them with a siringe. I've tried that method years back when I had some and it worked

It takes time to get rid of it but at some point you will if you keep killing one by one at least is not spreading

peppermints have always worked incredibly well for me. I put 2 in and they eradicated about 30 aptasia in less than 2 days
90 gallon mixed reef
30 gallon sump

I bought a File Fish, he's a champ.  He cleared aptasia in my tank after two weeks.  He's not for sale though, sorry.  I got him at Aquatic Evolution.

Rusty, thank you.  I did buy a filefish, but I still might need to add more fish to help.

I suspect my filefish has started to nibble on my JF jack o lantern.... not sure if im more concerned with that or having aptasia at this point.. anyone had experience with them eating their corals? I know they can and will just wanted to hear other's experiences

All of these solutions have the potential of risking other corals by nipping. Keep the fish well fed and happy and that will reduce the risk that they look for corals to eat.
