has anyone used the supernatural moon sand from petco? I was looking for some extra fine sand at a good price and found this at about $0.50 a pound at Petco if we ordered online so I ordered 250 lb

I have never used that sand before. I have heard that black sand will stick to magnetic cleaners.
I like how you are taking it through the wall.  I built a bowfront tank before and it was a beast. I was surprized at how well it turned out but it was a mind bender to get it all worked out. especially because I had rounded doors on the front of it. It was a 90 gal corner tank.

Looking good so far. I haven't used that sand either. When putting sand together I try to mix up a few different types of sand with varieties in grain sizes so its not all super fine sugar sand and its not a gravel pit either. Just my .02
