Well I’m back. Used to be rwgoose on here but couldn’t remember her my password so new account it is. I’ve been out of the hobby for about a year and finally broke down and got myself a little tank. 35 gallon, none drilled, big hob filter I’m going to treat as a fuge, current LED for lights and going to do a little euphillia garden, yeah, spelled that wrong. I’m about three weeks into cycle from dry everything!! Seeing tons of algae and all that. No test kits yet so just giving the tank time to settle in. Quick question, I’m going to add some macro here soon but was wondering about when should I add cleanup? Haven’t done from dry in years!!
I’m back!!! Getting fishy once again!!!

Glad to see you are back with a tank.

Hit me up when you are ready for some frags

With algae starting to appear, you have some nutrients.

I would kill the light, for a week (pitch black with a blanket is better).

After that add the cleanup crew. If you are just turning off lights, add the CUC now

I was kind of thinking the same thing. Except for the killing the light. Didn’t think about that, good idea though. Probably do that, add cleanup and macro.

Thanks
