Okay these may not be as good as I could get normally. I'm still playing around with it and figuring it out. But here are some teasers. Enjoy!

Some of them turned out nice, others did not. Oh well.

Looking great!

Best tips I can offer-

1. Turn off the flash - use slower shutter speeds combined with a tripod

2. To get the best DOF (depth of field) close down your aperture as far as you can (Increase your F number)

3. Like Dan mentioned - play around with your white balance.

4. Set up the camera directly across (so you are shooting straight on) from the subject. If you are at an angle at all, the glass will make it difficult to get a clear, focused shot

5. Take LOTS of pictures

You are on the right track - keep playing with it.

Thanks for the help. Yes it has a white balance and I'm still trying to figure it out. I just haven't had time to sit down and play with the controls. Too much school right now.
I thought I should turn off the flash, but like before, can't figure out how.
Oh, and its a Canon Rebel XT. Thanks for the help guys!
