My stupid Rose anemone just decided to up and move out of it's perfect hole
in the rock. Anyway, he went to the back of the tank at night where my
yellow tang usually sleeps. Yesterday, I noticed the yellow tang was still back
there during the day but completely motionless. It wasn't dead but it didn't
respond to anything. It was just dazed. I put it in my sump thinking that it
was going to die soon and sure enough, it just got worse so I had to get rid
of it. My question is, do you think it was sick and died because of something
in the water and the anemone back there was just coincidence? Or, do you
think the anemone stung it enough to really hurt it? I just added a protein
skimmer, I've done several water changes lately and all my other corals and
fish seem to be fine. I've had the tang for about 9 or 10 months.

I wouldn't blame the anemone. If it had the Tang long enough to cause that much trauma, you likely would have never seen the fish again. I lost a Yellow to my Bubble tip. It was a pretty short-lived experience.
