I recently got a frag from DutchDudes Devil Hand and it turned blue almost immediately after being placed in my tank.I immediately thought it was crashing, and before I could blink an eye,it turned brown, then green, then back to blue and so on and so forth. This color changing has been going on for five days now and I'm wondering if anyone might know which planet it might come from?Surprisingly enough, there doesn't seem to be any deterioration to this irridescent dude.

Any ideas from anyone out there?

I'm willing to bet it is dumping zooxanthellae and uptaking new varieties.  Also the differing light conditions will affect it's metabolic rate, and cause chemical changes in the coral.  Best thing to do is to wait and see how it does.  See what color in is after a week or two and compare it to the original.  Give it some time, then see if it looks to be dying or growing.

I have noticed him doing that as well when it has been irritated. When a fish or a crab nips at it - or you have handled it / moved it. It will then contract and turn into a slate blueish color. Sometimes it takes a few days before it turns brown/yellow again and for the polyps to start extending again. You have not placed it upside down have you? The polyps need to point up - providing you have seen them already.

Keep us posted on how it is doing...
