I decided to do a recirculating mod on my skimmer and have 1 drain from my tank to directly into the skimmer and the other drain into my refugium. I thought about how to increase my airflow threw the pum and made a venturi out of 1" PVC and 3/8 MPT quick disconnect. After drilling the hold in the PVC I threaded it. I glued a piece of tubing cut at an angle towards the pump to try and draw more are. Anyone think this will make a diffrence in the airflow??? I also thinking of a bubble diffuser in the bottom of the skimmer. Here are a few pics of what I have done so far.
