i just bought a threadfin butterfly to take care of my aptasia problem but my yellow tang is really beating up on him(chasing him around trying to wack him with his tail) is there anything i can do to make him stop?

72g bowfront(two clowns and one chromise a royal gramma and a small blue tang, snails, hermits and misc coral frags

I wish there was. Established tangs can be very aggressive. Yellow tangs can be one of the worst. You can try rearranging the rocks or removing the Yellow for a week or so to let the butterfly get established.

Yup!  It is just something that you learn over time.  Tangs are the last animals that I put in in my tank if I could help it. 

Also, the threadfin bfly is one of the more un-reefsafe bflies.  You might have trouble keeping your corals if it stays in the tank.
If you can't bedazzle them with your brilliance, baffle them with your bs!

ya i was just planning on keeping the butterfly then selling him when he rid my tank of aptasia well im trying to set up my 20gallon nano would the yellow be ok in there for a couple of weeks?

also my brother accidently put a bucket of soapy water in my sump and i dont know what do to get it out?

I would just disconnect the pump and drain out of the water in the sump out and replace it with new water, ASAP.
If you can't bedazzle them with your brilliance, baffle them with your bs!
