since im having kinda hard time finding the right size tank in the short time i need it im putting together a secondary plan of action. i need help with the details though. i have a small 10g wal mart special in my room which is holding my shark egg. is there a way to add it in my water line system?  i would have right next to the main sump in the cabinet. can i just set something up like a siphon to take water from the main sump and put a pump plumbed up to the display or should i put a "Y" in the drain and pipe it that way and then have like a mag12 or something for a return? how would i calculate the size of return i need without having it drain the refugium? help please

Dumb question, but why not just put the egg in the sump?

no room in there. its jampacked with a heater, skimmer, and reef sock on one side then the baffle which the pump takes up all the room.  beside i needed a qt for when he hatches so i can keep a close eye on him and teach him to eat. i figured it out though.

im gonna split the return down at the sump bulkhead and run a pipe over to the 10g with a mag12 return pump that will have a valve attached to the hose output and im gonna by a u-tube return spout either from the lfs or off the internet. i will also not be putting in a baffle, atleast at first. if there are microbubble from air in the drain then i will put a couple in
