I have some blue green chromis.  I also have a condolactic anemone.  My chromis like to swim ina nd out of the anemone almost like a clown fish would.  Is this unusual?  My clowns wont get near the anemone, but my chromis love it  I am confused?  Any idea of what is going on here?

Thanks

Al

It doesn't surpise me. Chromis and Clownfish (Anemone fish) are related to Damsels. Many Damselfish also hang out in anemones.

Oh ok...I was not sure what was going on.  It was just funny that my clowns stayed away and my damsels enjoyed it.  I watched them last night and my clown went towards it and got stung.  Then the damsels played inside of it.  Wierd.

Our damsels used to host in our anemones.  Our clown would host in our toadstool.  When we rearranged the tank the damsels took over the toadstool so now our clown hosts our magfloat. Confused
