It's about 1/2 inch long. It looks like the ones I remember pictured in Andy Rhynes presentation a few months ago. Dang, I wish my camera hadn't broken!
I captured the larvae when I removed a stylophora which seems to be losing flesh to predation! I'm guessing the Larvae! It dropped onto my hand when I tipped the coral upside down after removing it from the tank to place in the fraggin' tank. I thought maybe I'd dislodge the 'pora crab, but it stayed put.
Now I wonder which I should place back in the tank - the coral or the larvae! Recommendations?

Mark- just got your voice mail.  Doubt I'll make it soon, but would love pics from whoever does get a chance to come see it.

My brother Rodney just arrived and he has his camera. Here is a pic. When I first pulled it out it had red lines, and reddish tint, but that faded since it's out of cover.

Isn't that amazing!

looks like a pepermint shrimp alright!!  If you put it back in your tank though, I think one of your fish would eat it depending on it's size.

Two and 1/2 months later, I believe it may be an adult now. I just noticed a small Peppermint Shrimp hanging on a rock.
