Can a chalice be out of the water? I have what I call a chalice tree made my ecobak that I want to glue 15 chalices on.

all of the corals can be out of water the question is for how long?

If it where me and I was cutting them up and was worried about the time it was taking Id just pour some tank water over the corals I was working on they should have a pretty heavy slime coat anyway =) but just keep them wet

I'd try to keep it to 1/2 hour, doing what Nick said. I've done that a lot with SPS and it works great.
