I thought I would let everyone know not to buy quarter inch water line from Home Depot or Lowes. The water line is cheap and too thin, and will fracture horizontally and cause water damage. I just went through this and the water damage took out my kitchen. I found some water line that is actually higher psi rated and thicker walled than the other stuff and it's actually made for fridges and ice makers. You can buy it at Mountain States supply company, in pleasant view and slc. And it's cheaper than the other places as well. only comes in 100' rolls but to prevent a flood its worth it! Just thought I would warn everybody to prevent what I'm dealing with now!
