Okay, I have a 3g JBJ pico w/ a 180- 300 gph powerhead and a HOB filter. I had cyano algae but yesterday cleaned it all out and cleaned sand, everything. Now i am getting bubbles on my frags and on my vidarock. It's not green like bubble algae just looks like bubbes.

Next time you have an algae problem, you might not want to "clean it all out". Clean is what causes algae problems. You now created a different kind of algae problem. Diatomaceous and dino-flagellate algae is what you have now. It always exists in a reef aquarium but is usually only noticeable in a new reef tank, or a recently moved tank, or a tank that has been totally "cleaned". There is a way around it but you would need to come here with your tank's problems and then follow our suggestions while being patient as your tank grows up. Are you ready to do that?

Well I just checked it and the bubbles are gone. I checked and checked but there weren't any bubbles to be found.

The bubbles will probably return by tonight.Thay are bubbles of Oxygen, produced by the algae.
I can't remember, is there any Caulerpa or Chaeto in the tank?

There isn't. I have no place to put it in the tank.

Maybe you are thinking about a big ball of algae. Have you seen Caulerpa? Typical Macroalgae grows in thin strands. Chaetomorpha is also called sphagetti algae. It's the only Macro I can think of that does not have leaves. Some Macroalgae grows like leaves right off the LR. Here are a whole lot of pics of Macroalgae. Let me know if you want some. I have several types. Here are some of the common types of algae in our tanks: http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=5037
