I've been out of the hobby for about a year plus now, but it was never too far from my mind. I bought this Solana tank from Nick about 6 weeks ago. I decided to follow Mark's reef tips on a faster setup and it worked....Thanks Mark!!!!! I started with a large piece of Kailini rock from Fish 4U (my favorite LFS) and also purchased another 30 lbs of live rock from another member. I felt like it took forever for my tank to stablize. I know!!!!!!! I only waited a month before placing my first piece of coral, but it did well. So, the game was on a few days after that. I took some of my coral back from a friend who was gracious enough to let me use his tank as a coral storage facility. I have also added a few new things. It's been nice running into old faces and also meeting new ones. Just like old times.
Controlled by an Apex Aquacontroller...lacking internet connection so not fully utilized
Turned the center rear chamber into a refugium w/live rock rubble and chaeto
3 fishes...maybe add a blenny, but not sure.
