I think I am far enough in the process to actually create a "Tank build" thread.

Here is the equipment so far:
225 Perfecto undrilled (will drill and add custom overflows to create the a three sided veiwing, peninsula, tank)

Lighting will be a coralife aqualight pro (thanks Tresa) - 3x250w DE Phoenix + DIY LED actinics

Aquacontroller III with lunar sim and aquasurf for controlling tunzes for water flow

2xTunze 6105's, one on either end of the tank, doing all the crazy things that the aquasurf can make them do. Vortechs can eat their heart out . Was going to do the closed loop route until I figured out just how much I could save in electricity this way, not to mention the cool flow patterns I can create with the controlled Tunze's.

55g sump/refugium (Thanks Carlos)

ASM G4+ skimmer with recirc and mesh mod (may be replaced with a DIY skimmer in the near future) + 100 Mg Ozone generator

BRS dual chamber reactor for biopellets and carbon

Reeflo barracuda return from the basement to a 1" sea swirl (thanks again Carlos)

240 pounds of live rock and another 200+ pounds of oolitic or special grade reef (haven't decided yet) sand

------------------

The whole shebang will be built into the wall to kind of seperate our living room from the kitchen. Does anyone else have a similar built-in setup or in wall setup that wouldn't mind me checking out to grab some pointers?

This will be great Shane.
Glad to see you get that spark back.  I know it will be something to see.

Ha! No doubt about that. Lots of open sand and rockwork set apart for clams!

Exactly. Plus - I am considering running an external skimmer off of it as well. So by the time I am running a skimmer as well as 12-14' of head pressure to it, I'm only at 1400 or so GPH.
