Anemones move to where they like the light and the flow.
We could be more helpful if we could see a pic.
Right behind this 9 gal tank was a large south facing window but unfortunately, it did not receive direct
sunlight because of a large pine tree. The pic was taken at night. The light fixture was two 13W PC
pink/blue tubes. Pink/Blue tubes make colors pop. Without the indirect
sunlight the anemones would not have done too well. The HOB filter was temporary for running AC 1-2 weeks/month. The main powerhead was a small Rio on the bottom behind the rocks shooting almost straight up at the water surface, hence the wavy action.
