Good question, thanks.
Well I was going to ask about this in a couple weeks. Basically if anyone has coral they can donate to next month's meeting, that is just like putting money straight into our bank. It is helpful to have pics of the coral a week ahead of time, so we can at it to our presentation. Also, we'd need to know how many frags and how big. If you want to price them fine, or we'll price them for you before the meeting. It would also be very helpful to have any donated corals at the meeting by 6:30 so we know we have them and what to do with them.
So anyone who wants to donate coral frags, please please do.

They are huge, look like hands , a leather type , and as far as can be gotten they will be coming with fist size if not larger rock and other misc. corals, sponges, small feather dusters etc. ,what ever comes on an a 2-4 year old specimen. These two guys fall into the volly ball size. then another one will be a tree leather coral type . It is a big one on a small potatoe sized rock . We took pictures and were going to get them enlarged to go with them when they come. We're talking about 5 gal buckets, so a total of 3 corals. How do I get pictures to you ? the mail? Thanks for the time frame. So 2: 5gal size and 1: 1-2 gal size.
Thanks, Yearyean & Co.

Sounds like those corals need to be fragged before the meeting. Not many of us have room for a volley ball size coral.

We can use them to demonstrate fragging, if they're volleyball sized. Whatever works out best for everyone...

It sounds like these donations would be perfect for a coral propogation demonstration. Corals this large are much easier to frag and recover very quickly. These would be a great addition to the propogation meeting!

Wow! Awesome!!! Well you could email me pics, or mail pics. Or, heck just bring the corals and we'll use them for the demos as was suggested. I think using them for the demo is a great way to go.

UPDATE- So of course we can use coral donations this week. If you have coral frags you can donate that would be awesome! It is great to have coral frags pre fragged and bagged. Then we'll write a price on them (or you can, I don't care).
If you have a colony you wish to donate we can use it for a demo, or whatever you prefer. So all of you out there who can make a few frags by Thursday, please do so because your coral donations really help fund the club.
Thanks
