I have a smal Yellow Tang that is starting to turn a white color. It eats just fine. What would this be?

Hey, so i did a quick search and here are a couple things -
-temperature flux
-saltainity flux
-stressed from anything
-at night they will turn white when lights are off
-not enough room, which i think you are fine
-being bullied

Stressed is the biggest reason from anything, but other wise there might of been something i missed in the list

Is it turning white during the daytime, with the lights on... or is it whitish looking overnight / first thing in the morning?

My lights come on 7am and all day today he has looked pale. He has been in some caves a lot lately would that be the cause?

Could be a little stress

How big is your tank, Josh - how long has it been up - what other fish in there?

Yea, my guess is that its maybe is a little stressed or that it has something to do with te lighting, but when you say it has been in caves lately, maybe it has been being bullied and tried to hide???
