Hey guys I just switched all my 46 gallon Bowfront to my new 94 gallon
Cube (Banantropics Thanks!)

I transferred all live rock (80-95lbs) All corals and their respective rock
they are mounted too, and live stock mandarin dragonette, pink skunk,
ocellaris, Pajama cardinal, Sebae anemone.

I didn't transfer all of the sandbed as I've read it can be risky, so I only
transferred about 25% of it. And still have the refugium running in
another tank, but will be transferred to the new tank.

So anyway... Is it too early to "invest" in a Blonde Naso Tang? Anything I
should watch out for?

Let me know, thanks guys!

Richie

I would watch you system for a couple of weeks to be safe, but in reality you could probably add him without problems.

Also, keep in mind that Nasos get pretty large (almost 17" when full grown).

Thanks for the response.

If It looks like the Naso is outgrowing my tank and unhappy, I will be sure
to trade him to a bigger home.

Thanks again!

Hello everyone,

Probably not, but you're better off with patience on your side. IMO you should give the tank a month or so to stabalize.

Do you know anyone that has room for a 17" fish that needs to swim? I don't..

Hope that helps,

Chris

We will be looking for big fish in a few weeks.  We've re-done all our rock work and have a big tunnel.  We want to see some big fish swimming through it a month from now.

In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth ... then He let it cycle.

Have you read my dinosaur theory yet?

He'll be way less than 17" when I make the call to send it to another tank
and yeah... several tanks...

For one Eric and Marine Aquatics told me they will take any healthy fish
and find them a home, and also MSM has plenty of tanks that can handle
it. Would be cool to put it at Montego Bay in wendover in the 10' cylinder,
they maintain.

Lastly, It would be cool to release it in Seabase and try to find him.

Getting rid of big fish isn't as hard as you think
