Behind my desk I have a RSM130D. I started this as a BC29 for my daughter's Christmas but in the end, it's nice to have something at work too.

System Info:
Red Sea Max 130D (34g)
Stock Lights (for now)

Are running your mp10s on reef crest mode without the master/slave setup? And if so how do you like it?

I added one at a time and I've fallen in love with the Vortech pumps. IMO they are worth scraping a few thousand pennies together when you can. Even one made a huge difference.

If I had to pick just one mode it would be reef crest but, I use the Apex to control the pumps and vary the mode and intensity of the flow during the day. One pump is overkill at a 100% but with two I can run them slower and have more variation in water movement.

I just noticed the pumps were in reefcrest mode in the picture so a little more clarification, just in case. The Apex WXM module looks like the primary pump for the MPs. If you wanted to run the Sync/Eco modes then you tell the apex what pump should mimic master/primary when you configure your secondary pump(s). If you used those modes in your schedule then the lights on the pump drivers would indicate the Sync mode with the appropriate color on the dials.
