Hey i've had a few fish make a jump for it in the past im all about the rimless tanks but the problem is they are kinda meant to not have a lid so theres not really any way to even put a glass top on really.
Well i tried finding clips and they were expencsive and none were thick enough for my 3/8" glass, i tried making some and they just didnt look good and so defeated the whole point of the sleek rimless look.
I had never thought of putting the clips on the lid rather than the tank, so at The Aquarium they had clips that went on the lid but nobody sells them and they couldn't tell me where to get them, but then i had the brilliant idea of just gluing tabs to the lid instead so once i get my tank put together i'll try this out and let you know how it goes.
Im surprised that with the rising hype of rimless tanks that LFS dont have options of putting a cover on it, but this should work pretty well.
I drew up a very rough diagram below to illustrate what im talking about:
IF anyone has any other ideas to share please post!
Thanks!
