got my freshly painted, drilled and over flow box secured.... and then the front lower left side of the panel got chipped away. All the way to the silicon.... is there a way to fix this or do I need to replace the whole panel?

If you are talking about one of the glass panels of the tank you're going to have to replace the whole panel.
