if I am correct....you can't drill any panels on the bowfront tanks cause they are made with tempered glass. If anyone can chime in with a positive answer to this question i will either stop me from setting up a tank or breaking one lol.

The back is not tempered, I've drilled the back of bows before.

I had a 46g bow front that was drilled in the back, i would do the two hole method kinda like a herbie but just on the back wall that way it will be silent plus you dont have to worry about a snail clogging your one drain.

I will be drilling a few of them actually but all of them in the back panel for sure. I still plan on using the polar lens trick before I do just to double check if it is tempered. Thanks for all your input everyone
