I've never had a problem. I started with 1/4 the recommended dosage for my tank size. Whenever I see people have a problem...it's usually because they added too much too fast. It's very similar to vodka/sugar/vinegar dosing.

I never had a problem either only thing I found is not to dose it unless you have a skimmer. I had a rsm and used a media rack and didnt know you needed a skimmer I had brown slime like substance all over everything. Stopped dosing in the rsm and everything went back to normal. But kept dosing in my 225g and everything went well.

Just be cautious. I killed some big birdsnests colonies, bleached some SPS and LPS. Not sure what went wrong. I think every system reacts to dosing a little differently.
