This fish has looked like it had feces hanging out for a couple of days and today when I looked a large chunk is missing from around his anus/ abdomen. Is this from some weird parasite, or just oddly placed aggression?! Can I use praziquantel in a reef tank with feather dusters, coco worms, and spaghetti worms??

Praziquantel will eliminate all tube worms in the reef. Spaghetti worms will also die. This amount of die-off in your reef will cause a boost to the ammonia in your tank. Be prepared to increase water change frequency.

Activated carbon would need to be removed before dosing.

Pictures would definitely help. Is the hole on the abdominal opening? Or next to it?

What stores do I recommend?
Up North: Bill ( Saltwater Paradise 801-317-8115 )
Down South: Jerry ( Reef On 801-563-0600 )

He is lying on the sand and the pictures don't show the stomach.tried to catch and quarantine but he just went under a rock. The hole is surrounding his abdominal opening. Either something bit him dead center on it or a parasite or bacteria ate all around it.
