Hi all,
Just happened to notice these guys a couple of nights ago. They appeared after the lights went out. There were a total of 5. They are about 6-8 mm and curl up when I touch. I couldn't suck them out with a turkey baster, had to scrape out from the rock. The one in the picture is already dead, so I am not sure if they will have that brownish red color when alive. Are these friends or bad guys? Should I be worried. I have a small mandarin gobi, but I am not sure if this what they usually eat. Ideas?
I have them all over in my systems, as well as many other animals that are good for a healthy reef. In fact, 99.9% of all the species in our tanks are generally helpful and good. It's part of the enjoyment of this hobby to watch new things appear.
