Wanted to post how useful a homemade trap can be. Just before my lights had dimmed all the way tonight I saw my peppermint shrimp on top of my candy cane colony (the irony) taking big chunks out and eating it. Turns out that even mine can go after coral when hungry. So I broke out the old water bottle with an inverted top, threw some jumbo mysis in there and waited ten minutes. Sure enough it crawled right in, also if anyone wants a peppermint shrimp this one's free
