We are building a new house and are wondering about running soft water through an RO unit. Will it change the RO chemistry? Thanks for your advice!

I would think it could make your membrane, carbon, DI and sediment filter last longer.

Yes, soft water does make everything last longer because it removes a lot of the hard minerals.
