I share Eric Borneman's opinion that Acropora is near impossible to identify without the coral skeleton, a microscope, and a good identification key.  Keep in mind there are over 200 described species of Acropora.

Anyone that tells you they can identify the species of this coral is either fooling themselves or much smarter then me (and Eric Borneman for that matter).

     it's obviously the Pink tipped Green Acropora Specialalis. Please put me on the frag list to. What is coming in on Wednesday?

Thanks. I have a few acropora coming in on Wed, including this one. I also have that monti cap in the other thread, along with some pink pocillapora (sp?) and a bright digitata frag. I'll post pics when they come in.
