I purchased a tank raised pink skunk over a week ago. I'm not positive he is eating. When I feed pellets I see him grab then spit them out. When I feed frozen cyclopeeze he goes after it like crazy but it looks a little like he is spitting each one out after he takes it into his mouth ( it is really hard to see ). He doesn't look terrible skinny, but he doesn't look fat either. It has been a week and he seems ok, is this something I should be worrying about? How long a period of not eating would it take to show physically and by then would it be too late to take care of?
