I found two of these this morning and they took off before I could snap a picture.. One was on the back glass, The other (smaller) was on one of the backs of a hermit crab (his shell).. They crawled back into / under the rock when the light went on.

They are clear to a frosted white, They glide like worms have a rounded head shape ans a split tail (see sketch below)... Any ID help would be greatly appreciated

Planeria, common name Flatworm. That color and shape of flatworm is not a problem.

From the picture it looks like a flat worm. I have flat worms in my tank. The more mature flat worms are a brown/red color and the yound ones are a white or tan depending on size. How large did you say that these things are?

Mark beat me to the post  However, I agree with him.

Wow.. That was quick,,  Thakns for the fast response -

It is definatley clear to a "frosted" white color - The larger one on the glass was approx.  1/16 - 1/8" (somewhere in there) the smaller was about 1/16 an inch or so....

Only asking because the one was sliding around the hermits shell

Thanks Again
