That is GORGEOUS! I love the dark wood! Did you make the wood
parts? If so, put just one more coat of Helmsman on now....(you can
never have too many!!!)

Wait, even if you didn't make it, put on one more coat!

Looks like you will get plenty of light from the room, too! COOL!

Can you be on the tour next fall? I know this will be something to
see in person!

Hey, FIRE SHRIMP!

That's my tank! I've got one just like it in my garage waiting for me to get everything else together.

In the picture, there's a vent in the floor, so I'm assuming that the tank isn't directly on concrete......Do you have any supports underneath it to handle all that weight?

I'm planning on building supports under mine, so I'm just wondering....

Looks awesome!

I think a lot of us are moving into the low 200 range lately :-)

I absolutely love your cabinet, and since I am about ready to make this myself, I would love to come by sometime and steal ideas?

I would agree with tomason that it looks like you are running the tank parallel to the joists. I would at least run the tank across the joists. I think when we calculated the weight before (for a 220) it came to about 3000 pounds when full.

Also - are you worried about the window behind it? With algae?
