It is pretty easy to raise your Ca level with any of the calcium chloride based dosing supplements available at your local fish store (LFS) Do you know what your Alk level is? I use pickling lime that you can buy at any grocery store to maintain my calcium levels. It's like $2 for a bag and it lasts a while. I don't have a reactor or anything so what i do is I put some in a gallon jug and I fill it with water and let it sit for about a week. Then every week I add most of that water to my top off water, but leave the powder in the bottom of the jug. It's simple and it's actually been very effective.
