My alk was real low today and I picked up some fusion 1 and 2. I did what I was told and now my PH is at 9.0.

How can I drop this without dropping my alk?

Hey Thanks Kristine...
vinger works but I don't know if that will drop my alk too?

I just looked at my apex graph and it started higher and is slowly dropping.

From what i have read if you keep your alk and mag levels good the ph will follow. But maybe somone more exp. will chime in on that

Adding acid to the water will deplete alk. pH will follow your alk parameters. If you manage alk pH will follow. The trick is not to raise your alk or calcium too quickly or you will see radical swings in your pH. If you notice your alk is really low again in the future it's better for most everything in the tank to raise it slowly over a couple days. The same is true if alk is too high, if you lower it too fast you can cause damage. The fast change in water chemistry can be more detrimental than alk being too high or low.
