So my miami hurricane chalice was doing awesome but in one day flat it decided to start shriveling up. . . :( Part of his skeleton is showing and i think he might be a gonner. :( Anything i can do.
I do have a coral beauty in my reef, but i havent seen him nip at anything, and if he did wouldnt he go for the softies???? :( Anyone have a miami hurricane chalice i can buy from them??? I want another go. ..

No, i am poor in college. I dont have a magnesium test kit. :( I do regular waterchanges. My other chalice is doing fine though. What can i use that will increase magnesium???

You don't want to increase it if it's not low. You need to have it tested first. Take some water to a local fish store and have it tested.

Is all you do is water changes?.... if so, what kind of salt? How often? And what what % of water volume

Ok so with a 75 gallon tank, and 3 tangs, it might be nitrates and phospates that might be causing you chalice issues. How long has your tank been setup for?

I use coralife. And I do 10 % weekly. 6 months and nitrates never get above 2ppm. Phosphates are reading zero. He jas doubled in size in 2, months and was eating mysis shrimp. Thdn he transformed over night and looked rough.
