HELP! I just got home and discovered my Copperband somehow got sucked onto the outside of my koralia. I turned it off and hurry and collected him into a container and transfered him into my other tank (much less water flow). He is breathing very quickly and tries to swim but mostly lays sideways on the bottom. Is there anything i can do for him!

That's not good.  Most likely he wasn't doing well, is very sick, and then got stuck.  Either way this is tough.  I'd probably keep him in the old tank to avoid further stress.... but that's just me.  Really tough call on this.

Sadly he died sometime in the wee morning hours. Im debating about putting some fine mesh around the pump but will that reduce the flow?

It would reduce the flow, but i wouldnt usually when fish are sick or ill they dont have fight in them and get to close. and just rest there because they dont have to move... I would leave the koralai alone.. Sorry to hear about your fish..
