It looks like my return pump has been precipitated to death. Is it too late for my pump? I put it a vinegar bath, but when i plugged it in I heard nothing..

What is it? Have you disassembled it to see what's going on? Sometimes the magnets swell and lock up. It it's a magnetic type internal pump and it's electrical it's probably shot. If it's the impeller and magnet you can get a replacement (most of the time).
Do you need something to get you by until you get it fixed?

i just called them.. i might have to run down there, too bad i need one fast. the rio 1400s are all $29.99-$35 online, and they want $65.
