Jason that's awesome. I have to mention something I've noticed over the years that all the successful local fish breeders have in common. They don't worry about nuisance algae or overgrown decorative algae. In fact, I believe it's the algae that helps keep the larvae and young fish healthy. Algae is a major part of good biofiltration in a healthy system. It eats up pollution immediately, keeping water quality consistently good. Sure it looks messy or "dirty" to many hobbyists, but so what. The point is, the fish grow up healthy and strong. hay mark I worked hard on growing that hair algae. I even spread it to other tanks it keeps them balanced when you are overfeeding lol ------------- if wishes were fishes we would all have some |
