I just noticed the skirts of a couple of polyps on this colony have turned white. It can be seen best on the bottom of the colony. Of course I notice it right as I'm about to leave for a week I'm hoping it's not going to cause problems while I'm gone but I wanted to check. I've never seen this with zoas before It looks like it's expelled the zooxanthellae in its skirt. Any other ideas what this could be? Also: params are stable. 80° 1.025 Alk: 9-10 Calc:460 Mag:1350 No detectable ammonia,nitrite, or nitrate as well as phosphate.
