Hey friends!!! I'm name is Jace and I've been into fish for close to 4 years and saltwater for about 1year!! I completely built and drilled my 55 tank sump and stand from scratch almost a year ago,, apex controlled 55g rimless w/dual overflow draining to 25g sump w/center refugium skimming done by esshops psk75, all under 2 165w LEDs w/ apex sunrise/sunset, combined with current USA orbit marine 48" fixture,,mixed reef w/ mainly LPS and softies, few sps, and blue damsel, and unique nemo clown fish with missing white strip 😎,, I love life, I love my family,, I also have a 120 g freshwater tank,, but my main focus is my reef tank,, thanks guys this seems like a cool group to be apart of I'm excited to meet and be apart of the community !!! ------------- "He who is one with the sea" |

Welcome Jace! Glad to have another North ender on the forums. We just announced our reef tour for this year. It will be May7th. You should look into either featuring your tank on the tour or at least going on the tour and checking out other club members tanks. It's a great way to meet other club members as well as see what they have come up with for their systems. Sounds like you have some electronics background hidden in there somewhere. I fall into that as well and love to tinker and DIY for my systems. We have a great classifieds section here on the forum that most find plenty of corals and equipment on. Hope you have time to check that area out if you haven't already.
