Is this the same tank you had set up as your holding tank?

Posted By: Krazie4Acans

No, He had a 65 setup as his holding tank. This thing is much bigger than his two other tanks combined. I can't wait to see it setup!

Progress is slow but it's progress. I am not in a hurry this round. He is current status on my new tank.

Custom overflow is on and I am loving it. has a very small footprint and looks better than the standard 220 corner flows:

I love those overflows. Glad to see one in use on a tank. I hope he comes out with a top cover for the tank side to keep the snails and crabs out (hint, hint Tyler).

Moved in Dec last year to Saratoga Springs. Tank is currently cycling. Waiting for the canopy to be finished. Ordering some lights this weekend. Have a small fish room now where I have a sump and water change station currently setup but will be add more to it as time goes. Here is picture of the tank currently:

When I refinished my kitchen in my old house, my cabinet guy really wanted to build it for me! We have cool ideas, and its almost done. I will try to go through and post build pictures if anyone is interested in my build. Just haven't any any interest in my thread so not worth my time updating it LOL

pecs:
220g Marineland display
60g EA custom overflow
2 x 100g barrels ( one barrel is online with live water, the second is for RO water) I transfer it over to the 1st barrel after a water change, and I want to use it as a top vs topping off straight from the RO unit. You go through filters faster.)
Custom overflow
2 mp40's
3 x 400w MH 20k Radium bulbs
2 x Reefbrite XHO's blues
Vextra L1 running the manifold and return for the display
iwaki pump from my old 90g used on the water change system.
Currently have dosers for Alk and Ca but want to get a cal reactor soon
Reef Octopus Diablo Skimmer
BRS 6 stage ro unit
BRS reactor for carbon and gfo

That's a pretty stellar setup, so tidy and organized. Some day mine will be that nice... Since I plan to have something similar in the future, I wonder if you ever have any issues with humidity. I noticed a fan up on the shelf. In my future fish room I'm considering having a full exhaust fan (like for the shower) but just curious if you think it's necessary.

Deluxe I have my fresh air intake and a window really close to that room and its a cement room so its breathes really well. I haven't had any build up or humidity issues. The two 100 gallon barrels are sealed and most of the sump is covered. The fan kicks on with the MH on the display are on to help keep temps lower. I thought about doing and exhaust fan in the room next to it where the frag tank will be, but haven't started building that room out yet.
