Contestants have until the end of the day Sunday, January 8th to complete and answer the following.

1. Please post a current picture of your frag.

2. Have you tested your water recently? (i.e. calcium, alkalinity, magnesium, nitrate, phosphate, nitrite, ammonia, salinity, etc.)
For each test completed please share your results. (If tested multiple times, please share
the date you tested and what your results were.)

Just curious why the deadline is the 18th (its stated above as the 8th, but I'm guessing that's a typo) when the rules state the 7th and 22nd of each month?

1/15 tests parameters
Salinity 1.026
No3 trace
Po4 0.00
Alk 8.5
Calc 425
Mag 1325
Temp 77.5
Been feeding nightly the Benereef and daytime feeding for the fish are now consistently 4 x a day of mysis and nori as well. I have lost some color and believe this is due in part to the water not having many nutrients in it as well as an increase in alkalinity.

Not normally.

I stopped testing regularly after it came in at zero regularly for months.  I know there's gotta be Nitrates in there based on the algae growth but it didn't seem worthwhile to test every week as long as the algae was still growing.  I do test for it from time to time though to make sure nothing has gone crazy out of wack.
