We have a large Yellow Coris Wrasse who in the last couple of days has become more aggressive towards other fish. In particular he goes after a cleaner wrasse and now it looks like the cleaner has a bite mark on his side. Do you think this behavior is temporary or is it common as they age?

Both. I'll say more common as they get larger. But in terms of your tank mates, after a week they'll usually get along, or kill one.

I also have an adult yellow coris and I've never seen a hint of aggression from him.

Never had issues with my yellow coris. They always do friendly
