I have a 100 gallon rimless tank. It has 2 braces in it. The glass is 10mm the front pain is 51 1/2 inches X 23 1/2 inches width is 19 1/2 inches The braces are 5 1/2 inches from both the edge and are 5 1/2 inches wide. I want to remove both of them. Unless you engineered the tank and know what the pressures and spec on the glass are I wouldn't do it. You'll end up with 100+ gallons of ocean on your floor. | I would not remove them either. Those braces are there for a reason. They may be flimsy or look like they are not doing anything but they are. |
