  Does anybody know this type of algea and how to get rid of it. I tried to scrape it off the rock and suck it down to the filter bad, but it comes back again within few days. I have not tested my nitrite and amonia yet. |

It looks like Cyano bacteria to me not algae. There are lots of things you can do. | Cyano is often part of the cycle. I would reduce feedings for a while and Check on your flow. Cyano doesn’t like flow! If it starts to get bad, do a 72 hour total blackout. I would us chemiclean as a last resort. |
