It's just time. Been growing them since frags. I'm going to sell all my corals. I don't have time or the desire to frag them up. Then I'm going to sell the fish, etc. I know these corals are pretty big to transport and drop into someone else's tank but don't we all dream of huge colonies when we glue in a nice frag? May as welI start with them big. I figure someone here might enjoy them as much as I have.

Sometimes i feel like I'm turning into Jackie, but I'm looking for an Innovative marine 10 gallon cube. i've always loved the cube tank and am just not as in love with the peninsula style as i thought i'd be. If you have an IM 10 gallon and want to trade, i'd be open to the idea. Text is best 801.231.8056. South Jordan.

Subject says it all. I'm hoping someone has one of the older style (large white box with a round three pin pigtail) that came with the Gen1 and Gen2 Radions laying around that they aren't using and would like to get rid of.

Another option would be if someone has one that they wouldn't mind me opening up to get the pinout and power supply information from it.

Let me know what you have. Thanks!

Defintely do not sprinkle salt into the tank, but, adding salt to the sump is a great way to raise salinity if done in moderation, not too close to the return intake and while monitoring salinity in the display. Salt can be poured into the filter bag, if used. The key is not to raise salinity too quickly. Though it can be raised faster without long term problems, it's usually best not to raise salinity any faster than about .001 unit of SG per hour. Raising from 1.022 to 1.025 would take 3 hours, though I must admit, I've done it quicker than that.
Lowering salinity quickly is less of a problem. Maybe because the animals are genetically built to handle a dump of lots of freshwater during a storm.

After looking closer at the pics above, I'm not as certain about what I said yesterday in your other thread about the issue with the return pump being electrical. It may be a plumbing problem.
The Reeflo Tiger Shark pump is a high volume pump that can push 8500 gals/hour at no head. That means it needs to have a constant supply of a large amount of water. Another way to say it is that it needs to have a straight shot at a huge reservoir of water. The piping from the pump to the reservoir should not have any turns or restrictions and should be the same or larger diameter as the pump intake, a diameter of 1.5".
Have you heard of cavitation? Look it up or see the video below. Cavitation is when insufficient water is drawn into the pump so that the spinning impeller actually creates a very low pressure region around itself. The low pressure is enough to create bubbles of actual steam. The impeller then spins freely for a fraction of a second and the steam bubbles collapse. The output of the pump is momentarily reduced and a noticeable vibration is felt, usually accompanied by an audible banging/rumbling noise. The momentarily stopping of the flow allows new water to flow in and the pump then pushes water like it is supposed to. But then it sucks the water so fast again that it creates the low pressure zone leading again to cavitation. The cycle repeats continuously. If it continues long enough, the heat of the steam damages the impeller and volute housing.

Sometimes, in order to supply these high volume pumps, the sump is double drilled with 1.5" holes and the pipe leading out of those holes is joined at a fitting just before the pump intake. As I mentioned above, for best/ideal operation, the plumbing must be a straight shot from the sump to the pump(no bends) and the distance must be as short as possible. If needed, I can come visit and help with the design and build. Otherwise, I'll send you the bill.
